Trixi was born to train. In college, she majored in Physical Education and began her career in fitness. Her passion for rock climbing motivated her to start weight lifting at age nineteen. Since moving to Maui in 2008, she became a Pilates and Group Excercise Instructor in addition to already being a Personal Trainer. She also focused on meeting the needs of certain "special populations", golfers, and people over fifty in particular. She has competed in four bodybuilding competitions including the Paradise Cup in the Masters Figure Division.
Trixi's approach to training is "old-school", with a focus on free-weights and machines for targetd phasic muscle building and bodyweight exercises for improving core strength, stabilizers, balance, and agility. Her philosophy is "new-school", with a focus on the body/mind/spirit connection.
Trixi understands that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails. Her goal is to change your view on fitness so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. She strongly believes that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle.
